Diagnostic Psychiatric Evaluation

Initially, all new patients will meet with the provider for a 90 -minute comprehensive intake evaluation to assess their presenting symptoms, psychiatric history, medical history, family history, trauma history, social history, medications used and a review of any medical/hospital records, and lab reports.  Secondly, the provider will  review your medical history to assess for any underling medical problems, and complete a mental status examination to identify any mental health problems. Lastly, the findings will be analyzed and discussed with you along with any recommendations to meet their treatment goals. Collaboratively a personalized treatment plan will be developed to address with your needs and desired goals.  A reevaluation of your treatment plan will be ongoing throughout the course of the treatment and revised if needed.
