Typically, a follow-up appointment for medication management is usually 20-30 minutes. A thorough assessment will be made to assess medication effectiveness and/or any side effects. There are times that the medication dose may need to be decreased, increased, or changed to another medication altogether. Should this occur, your provider will discuss treatment options and recommendations with you before making changes.
