Because of the complexity of psychiatric medications, patient education is paramount and will be ongoing throughout your entire treatment. The risks, benefits, and alternatives of a new medication being introduced into treatment will be thoroughly reviewed beforehand. You will receive continuous education regarding proper medication administration, dosing, side effects, dietary restriction, contraindications, labs  and the importance of medication adherence.
